“Cabin in the woods”

This project is thought as a slope house with a panoramic view over the valley in front of it.

The concept behind this house was to create a boulder-like semi-basement on top of which sits the first floor which stands out almost on its own as a wooden structure overlooking the valley. The result is a warm mountain retreat which houses a jacuzzi tub with a sauna and a bedroom at first level and a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom and a small studio at second level.
