Room C

Furniture design / Interior design

The room’s interior design started from the need of a bookcase. Since there was a coasy refuge as a result of the house’s lightning rod tower, it ended up being the best place to fit a bookcase which would follow the inner wall and turn towards the wooden column in a perfect G-like closure.

The bookcase is made by hand using a classic saw, a chain and a chisel for aging the wood, metal brackets for support and wooden dowel pins for jointing. The coating was done with a water based stain.
